Music Theory for Singing Level 1
This is a course to understand how Music is described and how the "theories" make Music as we hear it. The approach is to use Western Music Notation to help Learners better appreciate Music. Learners will be taught the theory and examples of music scores and song audio samples are used to educate effectively.

BACKING Tracks
Making
This is a course for learners to be able to create Karaoke Music Tracks that they can sing along with. Tracks will have the flexibility of Key, Tempo, and Genre change. The creation is saved as mp3 files and they can play it to sing along with. The ability to determine your own key, and tempo, helps the singer perform well.

Skills
Level 1
The course trains a person to be an effective solo singer, which can also be applicable as a choir member. Techniques involving clarity, pitch, rhythm and breathing to sing. This is a very practical course that teaches vocal exercises as well.

Songwriting For Singing Level 1
This is a fun learning course where learners aim to develop skills to write nice songs that they can sing to. Essential music theory is taught; song structure is explained, and song examples are used to ensure they have a way to start and complete the song. Lyric writing is part of this course, besides Melody composing, and Chord application.

Level 2
Learners acquire POP singing skills, and apply them as a SOLOIST after learning from this Module. The outcome includes being able to develop a positive habit of VOCAL MAINTENANCE, and be singing regularly in social or commercial events.

Classical Singing
Level 1
Learners acquire CLASSICAL singing skills, and apply them after learning from this Module. The outcome includes being able to develop a positive habit of VOCAL MAINTENANCE, and be singing regularly in social or commercial events. This singing method improves voice and lung fitness (proper breathing).

ABOUt us
Fueled by a group of composers and writers’ passion to create original local musicals, Musical Theatre Limited (MTL) was incorporated in 2006 as an arts charity. Since then MTL has created numerous original Singapore musicals, using theatre, music and dance to further its social causes. These causes include the support of prisoners and their families and people with special needs, and helping theatre professionals with training and employment, as well as enriching the lives of the public through our musicals and classes. Staying close to its roots in amateur theatre, MTL has continued to reach out to people who are passionate for the art of musicals.
